The Vision Team is designed to help you use your gifts and passions to make a difference here at MLCC and in your community. We offer many different teams to make it easy for you to serve. From greeting visitors on Sunday, to leading a LIFE Group. read more

Why Become A Visionary?

Why Visionary? We believe God has a place for every person in ministry and a purpose in life to make a difference. You find out your Spiritual Gifts and Purpose in Step Three. Hospitality Ministry

Host Teams are an essential part of church life and make Highlands feel like home to every person who walks through our doors. God uses Host Teams to set the stage to reach more people and change lives.

Ushers*

The Usher Team provides a positive worship experience by assisting guests with seating, facilitating tithes/offering... Read More, and helping to secure a distraction-free worship.

Cafe

The Cafe Team provides a free cup of hot-coffee with a loving smile on the side in our cafe in the lobby, we believe some of the best conversations happen over coffee!

Connect

The Connect Team helps guests identify their next steps by providing resources and information about the church, weekend services, LIFE Groups, Baptism, Growth Track, conferences, and special events.

Greeting

The Greeting Team creates a positive first impression by welcoming, greeting, and encouraging each guest as they enter and exit Church.

Metrics*

Our team measures growth to help with expansion by counting the weekly tithes, offerings and other vital metrics.

Parking

The Parking Team gives guests a positive first and last impression as they arrive and exit by providing clear direction for a safe and efficient parking experience.

Safety/Security*

The Safety Team ensures the safety of everyone at MLCC by monitoring the Church visually and assisting with any medical needs. (Must have prior security, medical, fire, law enforcement or military experience).


MLCC Kids

Age Requirement: 13 years old+ or per director’s discretion if younger

MLCC Kids is one team with two areas. Our team helps kids have a genuine relationship with God, build a biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and love being at church. Ages 4-13

1st-5th Grade*

The 1st-5th Grade Team serves children in these grades, offering them the chance to experience the life-giving message of Jesus through engaging Bible lessons, worship, prayer, and fun, hands-on activities designed to help them grow in their faith.

Nursery/Preschool Team*

The Nursery/Preschool Team serves children ages 1-3 we offers them the opportunity to hear the life-giving message of Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, and hands-on activities.

Worship & Creative Ministry

Age Requirement: 16 years old+ and Training or Audition Needed

Worship & Creative Team is a collective team of musicians, worship leaders, and songwriters, graphic designers and creative minds who serve every week at MLCC.

Photography & Video Team*

The Photography & Video Team have the honor to take photos and video. We are not only documenting the history of MLCC; we’re capturing moments that will allow those who have never visited before to know what it’s like to be a part of the MLCC family.

Production Team*

The Production Team facilitates a powerful, distraction-free worship experience through the use of lighting, video technology, and audio engineering.

Worship Team*

The Worship Team facilitates a powerful, on-stage worship experience through utilizing the skills of vocalists and instrumentalists.

These opportunities provide various ways to serve beyond typical ministry roles, focusing on community outreach, global missions, and church support.

Love My City*

Make A Difference... Love My City happens every month, the first Saturday of the month, providing free clothes, food, and furniture to those in need around our state.

Providing safe shelter, warm meals, and compassionate guidance to those experiencing homelessness. We offer emotional support and resources to help individuals transition to permanent housing and self-sufficiency, upholding faith and hope through every challenge.

Focused on Medical support, Evangelism, Education, and Missions. We offer free health check-ups and preventative care, share the message of hope and salvation, provide educational classes to break cycles of poverty, and engage in missions to build lasting homes and provide food assistance for families in need.
