The History of our Maranatha Life Changing Church "MLCC"

Pastors Ennio & Maribel Zaragoza visioned planting a church with a simple goal: to help people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. MLCC began in May of 2000 with the help of the Vision Team, people committed to seeing this vision become a reality.

From the beginning, MLCC has focused on reaching out to the non-churched community by building relationships through LIFE Groups, the life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of MLCC brought immediate growth.

In the beginning, we focused on reaching the Hispanic community because we saw a need that was not being served. As a result, we became the first Hispanic church to incorporate and establish itself by purchasing and building Route 8 campuses. As the church continued to grow, we began to extend the life-giving message into the lives of non-Spanish speaking people who were seeking a life-changing experience, the church continued to grow making it necessary to extend our services and develop ministries that met the needs of a growing church.

At the same time, the church helped plant two other churches and supported other ministries through missions. We have six churches in the Dominican Republic and four churches in Haiti under our Lead Pastor in the Hispaniola-Pastor Gevelon. We established a medical clinic and a mission house with Pastor Roberto Orellana in the mountains of Honduras.

Today, people from all walks of life attend weekend services and LIFE groups in multiple cities in the state of Delaware. God is at work at MLCC. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to seek God with passion!

MKIDS

We love helping children develop a genuine love for Jesus, building their lives on the truth of God’s Word, connecting in meaningful friendships, and discovering their purpose at a young age. Our team will be waiting at the check-in station located in the Children’s Church next door to the church, where you can tell us a little about your family. To prepare ahead of time, you can fill out the New Family Pre-Registration Form. Join us for a Sunday service.
