PASTOR ENNIO & DR. MARIBEL ZARAGOZA
Pastor Ennio M. Zaragoza has run a successful business for over 20 years and has Pastor Maranatha Christian Church along with his wife, Pastor Dr. Maribel Garcia-Zaragoza since 1997. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico in 1957 and he came to the United States’ main land in 1967. He is next to the oldest of 9, one brother and eight sisters. His parents came to New York City, from Puerto Rico, looking for a better way of life, they worked for over two years before they could raise enough money to bring their children. His early childhood was very difficult, his father became an alcoholic and abusive eventually separating from the family and leaving his mother to raise the children. Eventually he was adopted by a family from Kenton, Delaware; a farming community. That is how he got introduced to Delaware. All his early childhood he struggled to survive in a dysfunctional home which made it difficult to adjust to a family that care and loved him. At the age of seventeen he got in trouble with the law and was placed in a youth detention center and at eighteen, he was transferred to an adult penitentiary.
He gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 20, after which he began to serve Christ Jesus, ministering wherever an opportunity presented itself. He met his wife while in prison, she was his counselor, after he got out they got marry and together began to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. He has travel to many parts of the world giving his testimony and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He graduated from the University of Youngstown with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a double minor in Business and religious studies. After graduating from college he moved to Delaware with his wife and first born son. He and his wife, Dr. Maribel Zaragoza, have been together for over 31 years. In 1993 he founded A to Z Insurance, LLC; a company that provides insurance and professional services to local communities. The company has grown from one employee to over twenty full and part-time employees. It is the largest minority own insurance agency in Delaware.
In 1997 both, Pastor Ennio and Maribel Zaragoza, are called into ministry.
Pastor Dr. Maribel Garcia-Zaragoza, has worked as a physician in the State of Delaware for more than 25 years and as a Pastor for more than 17 years. She was born in Philadelphia and raised in Puerto Rico.
At the age of 11 she gave her life to Jesus Christ, impacting her life forever and from then on, her life has been an inspiration to many people. At the age of 16 she was accepted at the University of Puerto Rico where she completed a degree in pre-med with a major in Biology, with honors. She moved to Delaware where she worked with the Governor’s Council on Hispanic Affairs and during that time she met her husband of more than 31 years.
After she finished her residency in Internal medicine and guided by the Holy Spirit, the couple moved to Delaware with their first born.
In 1997 both are called into ministry and in 1998 they established the first Hispanic Church to incorporate in Dover Delaware. In 2000 they became part of Maranatha World Revival Christian Churches, with home offices in Chicago Illinois. In 2002 they bought the property where they are now located and in 2007 built their new multipurpose facility, serving the Delaware community for over seventeen years. In 2013, Maranatha Life changing Church became an independent church and part of different networks such as Wave Church in Virginia Beach and Church of the HighLands in Birmingham, Alabama.
Pastor Dr. Maribel Zaragoza, has travel to many parts of the world in Medical and Dental mission trips with her husband and children. She has ministered in Haiti, Central America, South America, and South Africa. She was medical director of various Delaware School Wellness Centers, Walk-in facilities and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
She has two sons, Ennio Emmanuel who is a singer, performer and publish author and Eli-Dan Esteban a sophomore at North Carolina University majoring in Business and Finance. Her very active life, as stated by her is:

Pastor Ennio Zaragoza ha sido un negociante con éxito por más de 20 años y ha estado pastoreando la Iglesia Cristiana Maranatha junto a su esposa, Pastora Maribel Garcia-Zaragoza, MD desde el 1997. Nació en Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico en el 1957 y vino a los Estados Unidos en el 1967. Es el noveno hijo de 10, con un hermano (asesinado en el estado de Nueva York) y ocho hermanas. Sus padres vinieron de Puerto Rico buscando mejores condiciones de vida y trabajaron dos años antes de poder traerse a sus hijos de la isla. Su niñez fue muy difícil, su padre se convirtió en un alcohólico agresivo y eventualmente dejo a la familia dejando a su madre sola criando los hijos. Eventualmente fue adoptado por una familia en Kenton, Delaware; una comunidad agricultural. De esa manera fue introducido al estado de Delaware. Durante toda su niñez tuvo que luchar para poder sobrevivir en un hogar disfuncional y por esa razón se le hizo muy difícil, en Delaware, acostumbrarse a una familia donde lo amaban y cuidaban.
A la edad de 17 años tuvo problemas con la ley y fue detenido en una cárcel juvenil y a los 18 años fue trasladado a la cárcel de adultos. Tuvo experiencias divinas que lo llevaron a entregar su vida a Jesucristo a la edad de 20 años y luego comenzó a servirle al Señor y ministrar en cualquier oportunidad que se le presentara. Conoció a su esposa aun estando en prisión, ella era su consejera, y después de cumplir su sentencia se casaron y comenzaron a servir al Señor. Ha viajado por muchas partes del mundo dando su testimonio y compartiendo el Evangelio de Jesucristo. Se graduó de la Universidad de Youngstown, Ohio con un bachillerato en Ciencias Políticas con especialidad en negocios y estudios religiosos. Después de graduarse se mudó para el estado de Delaware junto con su esposa y su primer hijo. El y su esposa han estado juntos por mas de 30 años. En el 1993 fundó la agencia de seguros A to Z, LLC; una compañía que provee seguros de todos tipos y servicios profesionales a la comunidad local. La compañía ha crecido de un empleado a más de 20 empleados y es la compañía de seguros mas grande con dueños independientes y de minoría hispana.
En el 1997 ambos, Pastor Ennio y Maribel Zaragoza, son llamados al ministerio.
Pastora Maribel Garcia-Zaragoza, MD , ha trabajado como doctora en el estado de Delaware por mas de 25 años y como pastora por mas de 17 años. Nació en Filadelfia, PA y se crió en Puerto Rico.
A la edad de 11 años entregó su vida a Jesus, lo cual impacto su vida de ahi en adelante, su vida ha sido una inspiración para muchos. A la edad de 16 años fue aceptada en la Universidad de Puerto Rico donde completó su Pre-médica con especialidad en biología, con honores. Se mudó a Delaware donde trabajó con El Concilio de Asuntos Hispanos del Gobernador del estado, y durante ese tiempo fue que conoció a su esposo de mas de 30 años.
Luego de completar sus estudios y graduarse como Doctora en Medicina, fue aceptada en un programa de residencia de Medicina Interna en el estado de Ohio. Una vez completados los estudios fueron dirigidos por el Espíritu Santo y la pareja se mudó nuevamente al estado de Delaware con su primer hijo.
En el 1997 son llamados al ministerio y en el 2000 se convierten en la primera iglesia hispana que se incorpora en Dover, Delaware. También en el 2000 se convierten en parte del Ministerio Mundial Maranatha, con cede en Chicago, Illinois. En el 2002 compran la propiedad donde están localizados hoy y en el 2007 construyen su edificio de usos multiples donde están sirviendo a la comunidad por mas de 17 años. En el 2013 Maranatha, Cambiando Vidas se convierte en una iglesia independiente y parte de diferentes Alianzas y redes cristianas como Wave church en Virginia Beach y Church of the Highlands en Birmingham, Alabama.
La pastora Maribel Zaragoza, MD ha viajado por muchas partes del mundo llevando brigadas médicas con su esposo y sus dos hijos. Ella ha ministrado en Haiti, América Central, América del Sur y Sur África. Ha sido Directora Médica de varios Centros de Bienestar de la Salud, Centros de Urgencias y Centros de Salud Comunitarios.
Ella tiene dos hijos , Ennio Emmanuel cantautor, escritor y hombre de negocios y Eli-Dan Esteban que esta por culminar sus estudios con especialidad en Negocios y Finanzas y es agente de seguros.Su vida tan activa es posible por lo que ella siempre declara;
” Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece”
